In describing the ideal patient for SculptraAesthetic, Dr. Burke discusses a person who is between the age of 30-50 and is beginning to lose volume below their eyes, cheeks and nasolabial folds and is perhaps developing a bit of a jowl. While typical fillers last about 3-4 months with some able to last up to a year, Dr. Burke points out that it is important to remember the longevity of the injection, "They say two years is a ballpark but some people have had cases where it's lasted 6 plus years. Sometimes, you may need to do a touch up in order to boost its lasting ability and everybody's going to be different, but this lasts on an average far longer than normal injectables."
